Best enjoyed out of direct sunlight, Defective delivers distinctive progressive house and trance tracks that fuse a range of influences and styles.  Defective’s debut re-works the chart-bothering Electric Six track Gay Bar into a deep and dark progressive workout.  The Gay Bar remix received UK radio play and DJ support beyond expectations.  This initial spark ignited a flame that burned bright, fuelling a huge number of new studio tracks and an album project.

In October 2007 Defective was signed to new digital label SoDevious Records, marking it’s launch with the release of three brand new Defective tracks.  All Defective releases via SoDevious Records are available via several online music outlets including iTunes, the worlds largest digital music store.

Defective is a solo project propelled by a dark and evil force based in the North of England.  Although the mysterious and enigmatic face of Defective rarely shows itself in daylight, night-time brings out all manner of wicked things - details of the latest DJ sets and live performances will be posted online soon.
